The hotel is well-located, making it easy to explore Cornwall and access nearby attractions. The rooms are spacious and family-friendly, although the lack of air-con can make them too warm. The dining options offer variety and convenience, especially at the onsite pub, but the rooms can get uncomfortably hot even on cooler days.
Rooms
7.0
The rooms are large and perfect for family stays, with a cot included. However, the lack of air-con can make them very warm, and our shower curtain was dirty with a strange smell and pink stains at the bottom.
Service
8.0
The service was friendly and accommodating.
Location

The location is great for exploring Cornwall, accessing the countryside, beaches, and nearby retail park. The proximity to tourist hotspots and ease of reaching Isles of Scilly ferry are a big plus.
Dining

The dining experience had lots of variety and was enjoyable, especially the buffet self-service at the onsite pub. However, it can get very busy.

The hotel's location is excellent, providing easy access to the countryside, beaches, and nearby retail park. The rooms are comfortable and well-organized. The downside is that the rooms can be too hot even on cooler days. Close proximity to Gwythian beach and a short drive to St Ives make it a convenient choice for a few nights.
Rooms

The room was cozy and well laid out, with a convenient bathroom layout and a nice seating area by the window for my belongings.

My stay at the hotel was delightful. The rooms have been newly renovated and are spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful surroundings easily, but the room in the new part of the building tended to be slightly warm due to limited window opening. Dining was delicious at Brewers Fayre next door, offering a wide variety of choices. A lovely place to stay.

The 'disabled' room on the ground floor, close to reception, had a makeover and was bright, clean, and airy.

The staff was helpful and friendly. The dining experience was satisfactory. The location offers easy access to nearby shopping areas and dining options.

I had a lovely stay at the hotel. The rooms were spotlessly clean and very nice, with everything we needed. The only downside was the dirty shower curtain with a weird smell and pink stains at the bottom. However, at a very reasonable price of £55, the rooms were clean, cosy, and offered good views from the 2nd floor and the new extension.
